Ana-Maria Pruteanu is Principal & Managing Director of Infinity IPO, a capital formation platform that originates, pre-vets, and pre-structures European mid-market companies for institutional investors in the United States and the GCC. She is an operator first.
For 18 years she built, self-financed, and ran a global telecom-infrastructure business — Powerstorm — from the early 2G era through 4G. Her team was the engine: twenty-nine nationalities, based across two continents, retained for years. With them, Powerstorm went where others wouldn't — Sub-Saharan Africa, the CIS, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia, the hardest emerging markets on the map.
There she built decade-long partnerships with the regional teams of Orange, Vodafone, MTN, Ericsson, Nokia, Deutsche Telekom, Digicel, and Siemens.
The business grew the way real infrastructure does. It sourced large infrastructure and equipment worldwide, refurbished and re-engineered it — locally or in Amsterdam — manufactured the hard-to-find parts, then deployed with local operators under some of the most precarious conditions anywhere. That evolved into power: solar-hybrid systems for off-grid sites, and an €80M infrastructure pipeline across Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean.
This is the terrain her clients now stand on. Asset-heavy companies. Hard logistics. Capital that has to be structured, not just found. Her own business taught her the lesson behind Infinity IPO: good companies stall not for lack of ambition, but because their capital structure was never built for institutional money.
She is genuinely global — multilingual, at home across cultures, connected at every level, from founders and CEOs to finance ministers and heads of state. Her perspective on infrastructure, governance, and cross-border capital has been shared at the African Development Bank, the OECD, and the Copenhagen Democracy Summit. Her U.S. public-markets experience is first-hand, through a U.S.-listed company she leads (OTC: PSTO).
Today she stands on both sides of the same transaction — originating, pre-vetting, and structuring the cross-border architecture European mid-market companies need to reach institutional capital, and delivering that deal flow pre-vetted and structurally ready to U.S. and GCC investment houses.
